Round 13 Summary

Here we go again! Let's recap what happened in Griffinmere, because this rotation lasted an eternity XD

The Residents:


Masterson:
Douglas became an adult, and was occupied with his paintings
Levi was busy going on a thousand dates
Popcorn passed away, but got resurrected immediately by popular demand
Our mayor, Emmett, became an elder


Blondie:
Ava got cured from her witchiness to everyone's relief
The Center Stage was finally doing better than before
Lyndsey became a cute teen
Ava and Isaac had some arguments, but they got resolved pretty quickly
In the end of the round, Ava became an elderly lady


Kinsley-Danielson:
Phoebe grew up to be a facial clone of her father, Evander (but he's super cute, so it's okay)
Randell became a green thumb teen, and was happy to take over the little garden issued to them by the ROS
He also went on dates, but nothing serious happened yet
The family got to the garden club, despite the members' dislike of leaves
Later, Sherwood also became a teen


Danielson:
The family moved to a new (half-furnished) house
Shawn was busy tending his firefighter duties
Megan gave birth to a girl, Ashley. She looks a lot like her
And she became pregnant again


Danielson II:
Missy moved to the one and only apartment complex
She was busy working and painting
But she met a nice townie, Ezra, and they went on a couple dates


Danielson-Favreau:
Everyone got a makeover at the Gel & Hairspray
Gregory became a teen
The family enjoyed an afternoon at the Paw Park, where Goldie lerned some tricks, and the charlatan was unlucky
Berenice had a short meditating regime
The Mini Cafe started selling coffee bags, which resulted that no one wanted to purchase coffee anymore
In the end of the round, Tiffany became a stunning adult


Danielson-Novak:
Jonathan grew up to be a grouchy kid. Gresham didn't approve
Payton was busy painting, and Hunter woodworking
Hunter opened a business, Craftastic, where he sells his woodwork
Payton gave birth to a baby girl, Julia
Despite Hunter's continuous stargazing, no abductions happened


Novak:
Velma got a nighttime visitor who turned her to a vampire!
Frida became an adult and started dating (nothing serious yet)
Addison became a teen and pursued musical talents
Newt was busy stargazing


Perkins:
Tyler, the townie moved in, because he's been here for a while and nothing ever happened to him
He opened a business: Century Cinema. There were some hiccups with the autonomy of some drink/food machines, but it was quite successful
He started dating another townie, Harriet and they got married later
And Harriet is now expecting


Young:
Callahan became a child, and was interested in all the supernaturals!
Evelyn gave birth to another boy, Scott, who later became a toddler (and looks a lot like Cameron)
Purple Lanes was doing well (although some sims ended up having affairs here)
Cameron was busy tending his supernatural garden


Woods:
The family bought another majestic cat: Halfie!
April became an adult and Willow a teen
Half of the customers didn't get their food at the Green Plumbbob Diner
They acquired a genie lamp, so they have a bunch of money now
April went out to meet new sims, but no one caught her eye yet


Woods II:
Leann finally got a rocket ship, and brought home a dead looking living alien
Angelina grew up to an adult, but was unlucky in finding romance
They got a new dog: Oreo! Unfortunately, she and Bobby are not having the best relationship yet
I finally made uniforms for the Fresh Food Mini Market, which was doing alright as usual
Kirsten discovered her virtuoso self and also became a teen later
In the end of their round, Leann became an elder!


Thyme:
Christine and Justin moved to the old Sergeant house
They got sick but recovered quickly
They also got married
The Golf-Of-Course worked a bit better than last time, but there's still stuff to improve


Fields:
Byron was the unluckiest criminal ever
Io finally had some luck at the Clinic which reached Rank 2
She gave birth to a girl, Darlene, who's a little attention seeker
Byron caught bugs. He was also chased by bees multiple times


Lumber:
Jack's sister, Aspen moved in with the family
Ranger's supplies was doing well
Zoey gave birth to an adorable baby, Pansy
And she also opened a business, a tattoo parlor, Heart on your Sleeve


Sergeant-Hawk:
Moon, the cat passed away
Fanny had an extraterrestrial adventure, and gave birth to a little green boy, Orpheus, later
Cailin found a new hobby: pottery
Forrest and Biscuit fought a lot


Hawk:
Lily gave birth to a girl, Madison
Later, she opened a real estate office: Pride and Property
Their other business the EcoStore was doing great
And now they're expecting another noooboo


Hawk II:
Not many things happened to Bethany this round
She got some new clothes, wrote a bunch of articles, held a lousy party, and pined for not single men


Sergeant:
Both Finley and Rachel became elders
Errol grew up to an adult, and started seeing a townie, Alison. Meanwhile he was still nostalgic about his relationship with Frida Novak, by the end of the round he rolled some serious wants about Alison
He also opened a cute bakery: Bake It Till You Make It!
Mina was not successful in selling lemonade


Sergeant II:
Helena gave birth to a girl, Raine, who looks a lot like Charlie
The house got a little expansion, so she could have a proper nursery
The Yoga Studio finally ranked up to 1 after two rounds
Finley visited them and acted rather weird
By the end of the round, they're expecting again


Springer:
Yvette and Chad got married, which wasn't the happiest day for one of them
The roundly special of the Say Cheese Pizzeria was burnt pizza
Later, their daughter, Hillary was born, and became a toddler


Garner:
Vanessa moved to her own house
She continued dating townie Hector, who became a playable and they also got engaged
Vanessa opened a business: Bubble Lounge, which had a wonky roof and I'm sad
The couple is now expecting


Cinderford:
Louis could finally start selling the changeable pictures at the Cinderford Photos
Kelly started dating Levi Masterson
Allen became an adult, and reunited with his teenhood sweetheart, Tiffany Favreau
Alice became a stylish elder
They bought a new cat, Tilly
The whole family had to sleep in tents due to the ROS event


Saunders:
Godric surprised everyone with rolling a marriage want, so he and Mae tied the knot
Fredrick was a bit unlucky, but otherwise a sweet child
Coconut got a lot of love
And Mae got some new clothes and a haircut


Banks:
Both Linette and Horace aged up, and Marly became an elder
The school was chaotic as usual, and I'll probably need to build a separate high school
Marly finally reached the golden pottery talent badge
Horace went on a date with Frida Novak, and they have three bolts


Banks II:
There were birthdays every day: first Jett became a child, then Sierra a child and Diana an adult
The parents, Gerald and Olivia also aged, they became elders
Sierra went on a date with Addison Novak
Customers were unusually reluctant at the Book Nook
Floofer was cute as usual


Banks III:
Carla moved to the one and only apartment complex
She got together again with her teenhood sweetheart, Angelina Woods
She dug up multiple treasure chests, so at least she's not in debt anymore


Favreau:
Nimrod and Aiko got engaged, and she moved in with the family
The backyard got a little update, and every visitor used the hot tub without asking
Connor grew up and got into a phase
He also started seeing neighbor Willow Woods
In the end of the round, Aiko gave birth to a boy, Neville


Samuels:
Jessica continued dating townie Felix (her other lover townie Fynn wasn't interested anymore?)
Later she found out that she's pregnant, and had Felix move in with her
She also made a best friend in the form of Missy Danielson
The Fashion Fever was doing well


Hadaway:
Dawn grew up to a teen
Brooklyn and Randell Kinsley-Danielson became more serious in their relationship
Desiree became an old lady
Ice cream and baby stuff was selling great


Goodie-Bakley:
The house got a little expansion, which brought more loan
Esme and Newt Novak agreed to stop dating, because it didn't work out for them
Shenanigans happened at the Hellfire club
Everyone woke up Seth from his afternoon sleeping sessions
Both little Gwyneth and Esme had their birthday
Esme met a nice townie, Stephen and they went on a date


Kinsley:
Lydia and Lucio, the townie got engaged and he moved in right after
They had their wedding shortly after, and Alyssa was very happy to see her youngest getting married
Unfortunately, she passed away later that day :(
Lydia opened a business: Neon Blues Karaoke. Everyone sang terribly
Lucio bought another cat to accompany Walnut, Leliana
And now they're expecting their first child


Olhauser:
Myra and Abel moved to their own house (they fortunately had enough money for that)
Finally customers were open for getting massages, after I removed a mod
Myra started a new hobby, and broke the tv a few times
She later gave birth to a boy, Darren

Griffinmere!

Well, not many things happened town-wise, because we were saving up for the university.
(I know that's the exact thing I said last round too lol)



A couple small businesses still opened here and there



And this part of the residential area is also filling up slowly (please ignore that one house with no roof lol, idk why it's like this)



All in all, the town starts to look like a town for real!

A bit similar to last round, because a lot of kids grew up, but we have quite a few elders now!

So! We do have the magic 500K! University will open next round! Woo!

Quite a few people asked how I'm going to play the uni, so here's the quick idea: I downloaded Cyjon's Semester Changes, so a university experience will last 2 rounds. Days from the adulthood will be substracted accordingly.
Also I'm going to play the uni update at the end of the rotation, so it'll still take a while to get there, but at least I can send the sims here already!

- Okay, so I did attach the uni hood already, but I still need to build a handful of lots. I'll gradually build them, and post pictures on dumblr.
- Now that the university is settled, I need a new goal! I'm thinking about adding a vacation destination next. Probably something tropical :)

Yay! Griffinmere is so big now! Excited to see the uni, I like the idea of not just shorter rounds but subtracting the days from their adult time, never liked the idea of them getting longer lives because they went to uni!
