Since I earned a new resident spot back then with Ashley Danielson's birth, I moved in Tyler, the townie, because he's been here for forever, but nothing ever happened to him XD
No ROS, because it's his first round

I realized his job glitched out because I moved him in with the Mastersons to make him playable, and he was working at the Town Hall. Oh well, he will be rehired (or not)



He invited over one of his friends (who he mysteriously shares 2 bolts with), Harriet, the townie!



Tyler: It would be so cool if the town had a theater!

Next day, Tyler set his plan in motion, and with the help of a crapton of loan bought the Century Cinema! (which is not a theater, but close enough)



I forgot to download the soda machine :(



It really just looks like any other theater that I've ever reblogged on my simspiration dumblr (but mostly Nerlika's)



That huge screen was very expensive, duh



Tyler was nervous about the opening



The first customers were Ella, the townie, and Harriet!

They finally went on a proper date



They really enjoyed being in the kitchen, though

And she brought a crapton of stuff in her inventory, so Tyler could pay back like half of his loan lol

Okay, so I finally downloaded the soda machine, and added a new popcorn machine, because the previous wasn't autonomous (then it turned out that this one isn't either)

When Tyler arrived home, Harriet thought there's no time to waste, and popped the question!

Tyler: You're just nervous about the wedding! Relax, dear!

Since none of them rolled a party want, they just got married in the yard
It looks nice, so no problem!

Also, Harriet's dress doesn't have a pregmorph, so she got a new one (it's more appropriate for fall anyway)
The tax was 2100 simoleons, and they still have about 30K loan

- Sorry this update took me so long, I just had to decorate the house and build the cinema, and didn't feel like doing any of them after working on sets for +1 XD
- I'll try to poke the popcorn machines (and of them) to work autonomously
- I'll decorate the cinema some more once they have money!
- Btw they're very cute, but keep doing their romantic stuff in the kitchen, which is a bit annoying XD

I'm so happy to see Tyler becoming playable, it feels like he's been around since day 1 :D Harriet and him are very cute together, can't wait to see their kid because toddlers in your game are always the cutest.
Kitchens (especially tiny ones) definetly tend to put sims in a romantic mood, this is the reason I prefer open floor plans now XD
The Cinema seems to be doing good! Do you play movies there or give the customers full freedom of choise? Also, poor Ella, the girl was so excited she got there as soon as cinema opened and of course she didn't get to watch a movie in peace :D
And crossed fingers for authonomous popcorn machines! :D

Haha, it not just feels like it, he's literally been here since day 1 (he was part of the first townie batch I've ever made XD) I think now only Poppet's Darcy hasn't moved in from the very old townies, so she will be the next when I earn a new spot (after 10 births).
You must me right about kitchens XD
In the cinema, the customers can watch whatever they want. Since basically the tv is the only source of entertainment on the lot, they obediently watched it XD

Isn't running a cinema a bit hard? I mean, I'm struggling with a club and I think it's kinda similar?
I like Tyler and Harriet together - hope she'll add something purple to the house. :D
BTW, kitchen's can be very romantic, actually. :P

Hmm, I didn't find it as hard as some of the other businesses (the dance studio, for example) Until sims can entertain themselves and stay on the lot, it's not a problem :)
