Round 12 - Hawk II

Last time:
- Bethany became an adult
- She was thirsting over committed man
- Then moved out



Uh, allright...



First thing first, she moved to the remaining unit of the one and only apartment complex



I tried to go for a red and black modern thingy













She started with some charisma practice
Because she was about to open a business!



Since her LTW and traits screamed journalism, I also screamed journalism, and made her a little business: Magazine Mania
With this newspaper delivery would be unlocked, but I kinda find newspapers useless, so that's not gonna happen XD
But magazine delivery is also unlocked, which is slightly more useful
(also, inspo credits go to Nerlika!)









There's also a little work area in a backroom



The first customer was townie Helena, who just started reading instead of buying
Well, that's not fair XD

You're married anyway



Christine Woods was eager to buy papers about grilled cheese



In the end, Helena bought an interesting looking magazine



Bethany: C-could you help me?

Beth was in multitasking



And Chris enjoyed pestering this nice cat (Nimbus)



Yay!



Guess we had an evil visitor!
Chris: Holy moly!



Well, Mr Evil Warlock fell into his own trap lol



Alice Cinderford (by Kahlena) wasn't sure where to find the literature about werewolves. Or witches, it doesn't really matter in her case



Lyndsey Blondie wasn't happy that her favorite magazine was out of stock





Seems like it was a stormy day, since Godric (by Voleste) also got struck



And a tree started burning



And Shawn Danielson was a useless firefighter, as always



Beth quickly wrote an article about the interesting weather



Then went to sleep



Next day was a workday
She wasn't thrilled



Friendly neighbors, Godric and Justin Thyme discussed their favorite ships



I remembered that Bethany has to use negative interactions, so there we are



She also greeted walkby townie, Gavin (by Starlla)



Beth: I know I'm dressed in red, but it doesn't mean that I'm a ladybug!



Another walkby: Harriet, the townie



She was actually interested in Beth's arguments



Then blatantly started flirting with Godric
His partner, Mae (by Slyndsey) didn't seem to mind, though



Gavin: Are you sure you want to step out of the best friend territory, with him?
Harriet: Don't judge me



Beth wasn't interested in friendly interactions



Right





New day



Old job



Mrs Landlady experienced the weird weather too



And Beth didn't seem happy with her job



Later, two of her friends, cousin Charlie Sergeant, and Myra Kinsley visited



They had some stuff to catch up on



Charlie was a bit inappropriate
Megan: I don't even know you?



But all that Beth wanted was to visit Godric, so she did
Mae still didn't seem to mind



Myra and Justin shared some beauty tips



Then Beth retreated to studying



Her kinda sister-in-law, Lily called her multiple times
Myra: I need attention!



Bethany declared that cousin Charlie is a nice guy
I agree





In the morning, Beth decided to quit her job



So she could focus on her business!





Fynn, the townie was searching for the rock magazines



Dunno what Sierra Banks was searching for, but she was cute!



Her dog, Floofer accompanied her :)



Yay again!



Tamara, the pastel goth townie also visited



Beth: Um, just a minute...



Sierra: I have a curfew, you know



Another shameless browser, Vanessa, the townie



And an actual buyer, Luca (by Esotheria)



Yay the third time!



Beth's mother, Cailin Sergeant also wandered by, but she didn't enter
It's interesting, because she and Caleb kept visiting Ian, Beth's brother, but they don't visit Beth XD



Chad, the townie wasn't satisfied with the (lack of) service

When Beth went home, she immediately did this?
I have a feeling who she was waiting for XD



Then she watched some horror on tv



It was actually just football



Then she wrote an article about the violence in sports



I can never have enough sky pictures, I tell you



She wanted to visit Godric (again), and started flirting with him
He wasn't interested, though



Then he was suddenly interested...



Uh huh



Beth decided to visit the Birch Park



To play very difficult chess



Shawn: I can beat this young lady anytime!



Well, he didn't
Beth: Haha, you loser!



Isaac Blondie (also by Slyndsey) was enthusiastic about this chess match



Tamara appeared again, and Beth immediately wanted to befriend her!



Kids Esme Goodie-Bakley and Dawn Hadaway had a nice playdate



A couple hours later, Bethany was still playing chess



April Woods was hanging out by herself



Sister Fanny Hawk also happened to be here, and she was unsure about the cleanness of this park



And that's all lol



Her rent was 1300 simoleons, and the tax was 1000 simoleons

- I'm enjoying the magazine business! It doesn't make that much money, because these deco magazines are very cheap, but it's levelling up nicely
- I don't know what to do with her obsession about Godric XD He'll move out of the apartment complex this round, so I guess we'll see
- If she's not rolling wants about Godric, she wants to study, which is nice
- I know it wasn't a very interesting update, but we'll have a bigger family with hopefully more happenings next time! :)

It was still a cute update. I like that her business does well despite not making a ton of money. And Beth is adorably anti-social it seems, like she's genuinely happy with her life and doesn't want other people poking their noses in without her invite and has no problem expressing her displeasure when they do.

I really like the little magazine business! Beth is a popularity sim, but she has always preferred her knowledge secondary more, and doesn't mind being alone and just studying or working!
