Round 12 - Lumber

Last time:
- Jack became a playable by becoming Io's roommate
- He opened a business, Ranger's Supplies
- And he started dating a townie, Zoey
- Then he moved out on his own



I don't think he has any enemies, but okay



First think first! Jack moved to this wonky-roofed house
I'll even out the roof if I expand the house lol



But it looks cute from the inside, so that's what counts!









Of course, Jack was back to lumbering



And he still likes smelling flowers



And he invited his love interest, Zoey over!



The two didn't waste much time!





And Jack told a bad joke



You have no sense of humor, remember?
Jack: Uhh



But they reconciled quite quickly



Well, that works as well





So Zoey ended up moving in!
(and Jack could pay his loan back - I think. Or he did later. The main thing is that he paid it back at some point)

I guess he learned from that too

Jack caught an actual fish in the end



That was when I remembered that we have a ROS to fulfill, so Jack greeted the first walkby, who happened to be Brett Woods



And started an argument. Brett liked it, though



Christine Woods: Uh, dad's arguing, better get out of here!





Jack: You can't just start reading my books!
Brett: You never read anyway!



Jack: *ugly sobs*



Jack: But I just wanted to be his bff!
Zoey: Obviously *nomnomnom*





Since they didn't have much money, and didn't want to throw a party, they just got married right there

And they continued with some... pillow fighting



Still no chymes



Jack reads, see?



Zoey: Hon, we survived the day without a fire!



Jack: The fire is inside me!





They went hiking and they both got chased by bees lol



Another workday!

- Well, they tried like 6 times and no luck in chymes. I'm a bit worried, because I know from Kahlena's game that it doesn't mean any good...
- But I think they're cute, so there's that?
- Jack will probably have to hire a proper employee next round
- I have no idea what to do with Zoey yet. We'll find out!

What a lovely house he got. <3
Don't worry about the chymes, it's their first round so I wouldn't be worried about it yet. Actually I think it's even better, because they'll have more time for work, and that means more money. :) And they'll need it for future nursery and stuff.
Zoey seems fun! I don't know... I see her working in Gel & Hairspray as piercing/tattoo specialist. But maybe it's too obvious... :)

Ah, that's a good idea! I want to open a tattoo parlor since forever, I just haven't found the perfect sim for the job yet! But maybe Zoey would be suitable, she's cool! :)

If you don't get chimes, maybe they can adopt? As much as I love Sims having babies the old fashioned way, it's nice seeing the other methods as well. :)
At least they can work on their careers for now, lightening some of that debt and putting away a little nest egg for those more finically burdensome moments.

Yeah, adoption would be a nice option if we had an orphanage. Which we don't (yet). But it's in the plans, so it'll happen at some point!
Fortunately the business is doing very well, so I think they will be out of debt soon! :)
